Stellar Blade’s New Game Plus Mode Will Be Available At Launch, Shift Up Confirms

Stellar Blade reviews are now out, and if you’ve not done so you can go check out PSU’s take on Korean developer Shift Up’s new action game published by PlayStation.

One point a few reviewers have made is the fact that when they finished the game, there wasn’t an option to dive into new game plus. Now, Shift Up had previously made everyone aware that new game plus wouldn’t be something available at launch.

Thankfully however, Shift Up was able to get the mode ready, not in time for reviewers but in time for players, who can look forward to the new game plus mode being added in with the game’s day one patch.

Content creator FightinCowboy revealed that the day one patch has already been pushed by Shift Up, and reviewers, along with everyone else waiting for the game to arrive this coming Friday, will have the mode ready to go right away.

Was super bummed at the item of starting over without my outfits and upgrades. NO LONGER IS THAT A CONCERN pic.twitter.com/NrzzLnkHpV

Per FightinCowboy, developer Shift Up confirms that with the new game plus mode, “all your equipment, currency, items and records, character enhancements, drone upgrades, acquired skills, and owned SP that you have gained up until the previously completed game’s progress will transfer to the next game.”

So good news for everyone who plans to be playing Stellar Blade all weekend, there will be a new game plus mode all ready to go if you’ve not had enough after hitting credits for the first time.
