In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry discovered that the hiding place of one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes, Ravenclaw’s diadem, was the Room of Requirement—but this was a terrible decision on the Dark Lord’s part. The mysterious room in Hogwarts Castle has become a favorite location for fans, so it appeared in several of the Harry Potter books and movies, as well as now in the Fantastic Beasts movies and the Hogwarts Legacy video game. However, its prevalence in the franchise is ironic since the Room of Requirement is supposed to be Hogwarts’ best-kept secret.
