Rebel Moon concept artist Phil Boutte discusses Zack Snyder’s collaboration process and describes him as a “creative amplifier.” Initially conceived as a Star Wars film by Snyder, Rebel Moon is an original sci-fi epic. The movie is set in a universe controlled by the Mother World. When the moon Veldt is threatened by the Mother World’s army, the Imperium, a former soldier, Kora, takes a stand. Hoping to find redemption, she searches for warriors from across the galaxy to protect the moon from the Mother World’s corruption and control.
