Bollywood star Salman Khan has been making headlines ever since he received death threats. The actor’s security has been upgraded due to several troubling events around his Mumbai residence. However, he is ensuring that his prior commitments are not hampered by these threats. As per reports, the actor will soon commence the shoot for his anticipated project, Sikandar, but with optimum security.
Reports about Salman Khan’s collaboration with director AR Murugadoss and producer Sajid Nadiadwala were making rounds earlier this year. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the makers announced the movie Sikandar. Since then, fans have been waiting for more updates on the film.
Salman Khan’s optimum security confirmed for Sikandar shoot
A previous report claimed that Salman Khan’s Sikandar will kickstart in May as the actor has confirmed his work will not be disturbed by the threats he has received. The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan star has been granted Y+ security, and Mid-Day has now confirmed that his shoot schedule will not be revealed.
A source close to the upcoming project has revealed the exact shoot dates and locations will be kept under wraps. The source said, “The team will soon begin pre-production. But they have been told that the leading man’s exact shooting dates, locations, and whereabouts will not be disclosed. Salman and producer Sajid Nadiadwala have decided that only a core group of 10, outside of the actor’s personal security detail, will be privy to this information.”
Salman Khan’s security will be ensured by his team before the schedule begins. The source added, “About a fortnight before the shoot commences, Salman’s security team will take over the location and secure it. The shoot will begin only after they are sure about the safety of the location. The idea is to do so before every location changes.”
Along with the movie’s announcement, Salman Khan also teased its release date window. Sikandar will be out on Eid 2025.
