Capcom revealed new Capcorom plushes modeled after Mizutsune, Rajang, and Khezu from the Monster Hunter series. The large monsters that players hunt in the original games will turn into small stackable beanbag plushes that draw a resemblance to Disney’s Tsum Tsums.
The new Capcorom plushes will be available for sale in Japan on September 14, 2023 — the same day the new mobile game Monster Hunter Now launches worldwide. People will be able to find them at Capcom Store Tokyo, Capcom Store Osaka, and Capcom Store & Cafe Umeda in northern Osaka. Those who reside in other parts of Japan can play the online crane game Capcom Net Catcher that will add these plushes on September 15, 2023.
Mizutsune, Rajang, and Khezu are some of the popular monsters in the Monster Hunter series. Earlier in August 2023, Capcom revealed larger Fuwatama plushes of the same monsters. But while the Fuwatama line features Furious Rajang, this Capcorom plush will have its regular version.
Capcom previously made Capcorom plushes of Rathalos and Rathian. Besides Monster Hunter, the company also released plushes based on other franchises like Street Fighter, Mega Man, Devil May Cry, Ace Attorney, and Sengoku Basara in the same collection.
The latest Monster Hunter console entry is Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, which is available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Capcom is also working with Niantic to release Monster Hunter Now for Android and iOS mobile devices on September 14, 2023.
