One new theory suggests that the newly retitled series Agatha: Darkhold Diaries will gift its titular witch an impressive new ability, perhaps helping to better explain one controversial Phase 4’s series’ finale. After debuting as Agatha Harkness in WandaVision, Kathryn Hahn was confirmed to be returning in her own spinoff series, originally announced as Agatha: House of Harkness in November 2021. At SDCC 2022, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige revealed that the series had been retitled Agatha: Coven of Chaos, but the show’s title was changed once again in September 2023, now Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, which may hint at a major change for Hahn’s witch in the MCU’s Phase 5.
