Despite his variants being central to the plot of Loki, Kang hasn’t been mentioned at all, but the genius reasoning for this has just been revealed by Marvel. Loki Season 2 has so far proved to be a real boon for the MCU and its Multiverse Saga, garnering critical acclaim and the viewership to prove it, and yet it has interestingly danced around any mention of the arch-villain’s true name. He Who Remains and Victor Timely have, of course, been pretty central to the story of Season 2, but the reason for Kang’s omission from the script, specifically, has a much deeper meaning that was revealed in its most recent episode.
