Bandai Namco launched the Bandai Namco Game Music portal site that curates its franchise soundtracks on platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music. At the same time, the company also published the original soundtracks for both Baten Kaitos entries on the aforementioned platforms.
The Bandai Namco Game Music site lists soundtracks from the company’s franchises that are formally available in digital formats. People can search the available soundtracks from a list of series. Clicking on a title’s soundtrack will lead to a page that contains a Spotify widget and links to the YouTube playlist and other platforms. As of September 12, 2023, the company has included Elden Ring, Code Vein, Ace Combat, God Eater, Klonoa, Taiko no Tatsujin, and the Tales of series in the list.
The same also applies to the newly released Baten Kaitos soundtracks. The pages for both Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins contain links that let people listen to Motoi Sakuraba’s tracks digitally on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Line Music, and Awa. They can also alternatively opt to purchase the soundtracks on iTunes Store, Amazon Music, Mora, and Recochoku.
Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and its sequel Baten Kaitos Origins originally appeared on the GameCube in the 2000s. Bandai Namco is compiling both titles into Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster. The company will release it for Nintendo Switch on September 14, 2023.
