Spiders aren’t usually friendly in games, but there are a few instances in this one where they can be. One such instance is very early on, even before you reach the Blighted Village and eventual Goblin Camp. How to Get the Spider Egg Sac in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can get the Spider Egg Sac right after you leave out the front gate to Emerald Grove. Leave the grove and hang a right as if you’re progressing toward the Blighted Village. Just past the turn is a ledge you can jump up. I’ve included an image of the ledge as well as its map location below.
