A select handful of television actors who are primarily known for their roles in hit TV shows also have some underrated performances in major movies. The best television actors are able to sustain a masterful grasp of their characters throughout multiple seasons whereas any performance in film requires a much shorter duration of commitment from an actor. In this way, leading television actors are tasked with a larger responsibility than most film actors and even run the risk of being typecast by an iconic role. This can make their appearances on the big screen somewhat rare and ultimately undervalued as a result.
